After School counselor
Location: Arcadia Academy
Arcadia Academy is on the hunt for an enthusiastic after school counselor for the 2023-2024 academic year. The ideal candidate will embrace our school's mission and values, bringing creativity and discipline into the classroom. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and assisting students with homework.
Qualifications:
- AA or Bachelor's Degree
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preffered
- 45 hours of child care training
- CPR certification
Experience Required:
- A minimum of 1 year experience in education preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement educational activities and events
- Ensure that students receive snack and complete homework
- Collaborate with team members to foster a holistic approach to education

Schedule: Monday to Friday
Education: AA or Bachelors Degree
Experience: 1 year experience in education (preferred)

Director Assistant/after school coordinator
Location: Arcadia Academy
The Director Assistant/After school coordinator assists the Director in managing the day-to-day operations of the school, including administrative tasks, staff supervision, and parent communication. The ideal candidate should have experience in early childhood education and be organized, reliable, and have excellent communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Previous experience in an administrative role or as a teacher in a preschool setting
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- 45 Hours of child care training
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Preschool Director in overseeing the daily operations of the school
- Support staff with classroom management, lesson planning, and parent communication
- Handle administrative tasks such as enrollment, scheduling, and record-keeping
- Organizing after school events and activities
Teacher Assistant
Location: Arcadia Academy
As a Preschool Teacher Assistant, you will support the Lead Teacher in implementing the curriculum, engaging with students, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will assist with classroom management, lesson planning, and contribute to the overall success of our early childhood education program.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Child CPR
- CDA or Higher in Early Child Care and Education or Similar Fields
- 45 hours of child care training
- Bilingual is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Works with small groups of children of varying abilities and interests
- Supports teachers in keeping the classroom clean and organized
- Directly support the Lead Teacher in carrying out daily lessons
- Ensure a safe structured learning environment
Director Assistant / Administrator
Location: Sunflowers Preschool
The Preschool Director Assistant/Administrator assists the Preschool Director in managing the day-to-day operations of the school, including administrative tasks, staff supervision, and parent communication. The ideal candidate should have experience in early childhood education and be organized, reliable, and have excellent communication skills.
